The Faculty of Pure and Applied Mathematics at Wrocław University of Science and Technology is one of Poland's leading centers for mathematical research. Its new Department of Analysis and Stochastic Processes invites applications for academic positions in the broadly understood areas of probability and mathematical analysis:

  • One tenure-track position (four-year contract with the possibility of permanent employment, ref. no. AD2/K96/05/2025);
  • Three postdoc positions (two-year contracts, ref. no. AD3/K96/05/2025, AD4/K96/05/2025, AD5/K96/05/2025).

The expected start date is October 1, 2025.
The deadline to apply is June 28, 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting scientific research in mathematics;
  • Teaching undergraduate or graduate courses;
  • Participating in the organizational work of the Department, Faculty, and University.

Qualifications:

  • A doctoral degree in mathematics;
  • A strong research record;
  • Teaching experience;
  • Very good command of English.
