SPA Travel Awards

The Bernoulli Society is pleased to announce the SPA Travel Awards, sponsored by Elsevier. These awards support young researchers (up to the age of 35) who have published in Stochastic Processes and their Applications (SPA) or any other Elsevier journal.

Up to four travel grants of €500 each will be awarded to outstanding candidates. Selection will be based on research excellence, while also ensuring diversity in terms of research domain, geography, gender, and other relevant factors. The organizers reserve the right to adjust the number and amount of grants awarded, for example, by offering two €1000 grants instead of four €500 ones, when appropriate.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have paid the conference fee.

Application Process

The Local Organizers of SPA 2025 will select the awardees. To apply, please send an email to spa2025@pwr.edu.pl with the subject line "SPA Travel Awards" and include:

  • CV
  • A copy of your Elsevier publication
  • A brief research statement and complementary information in the email body

Selection Timeline

Award results will be announced at this web page on April 15, May 15, and/or June 15, until all grants are awarded.
